Remembering Rotmans Furniture:

A Legacy of Collaboration and Creativity

As we reflect on the end of an era, it's impossible not to feel a sense of nostalgia for Rotmans Furniture, a beloved institution that graced the Massachusetts landscape for over 60 years. For Mike Savino Film/Video, Rotmans was more than just a client—it was a partner in creativity, a canvas on which we painted countless stories and brought furniture to life on screen.

A Legacy of Collaboration:

Our journey with Rotmans Furniture spanned decades,

encompassing nearly 1000 commercials that showcased

the beauty and functionality of their products.

From elegant living room sets to cozy bedroom furniture,

each commercial was a testament to the craftsmanship and quality that defined the Rotmans brand.  As part of the creative team at Rotmans Furniture, I was instrumental in coining the slogan "Fantastic." This single word perfectly encapsulated the exceptional quality and superior shopping experience that Rotmans was known for. It was not just about the products but the promise of an outstanding experience every time you walked into our store. This strategic choice in our advertising not only set Rotmans apart in the competitive furniture market but also resonated deeply with our customers, reinforcing Rotmans' reputation as a leading furniture retailer in Worcester.

Athlete Collaborations:

One of the highlights of our time with Rotmans was

the opportunity to collaborate with some of the

biggest names in sports. Hockey greats

like Joe Juneau and Adam Oates, baseball stars Derek Lowe, Shea Hillenbrand and John Valentin, football star Matt Light, Patriot’s Super Bowl hero Ellis Hobbs, and Celtic basketball player Antoine Walker—all graced our commercials with their presence, adding a touch of star power to our storytelling.

Capturing Moments:

Every commercial we produced for Rotmans was an opportunity to capture the essence of the brand and connect with audiences on a deeper level. Whether it was through heartwarming family moments or stylish furniture showcases, each scene was carefully crafted to evoke emotion and inspire action.

The End of an Era:

With the closure of Rotmans Furniture, we say goodbye

to a chapter of our history that will always hold a

special place in our hearts. The memories we created together,

the stories we told, and the relationships we forged will endure

long after the showroom lights have dimmed for the last time.

Looking Ahead:

As we bid farewell to Rotmans, we're filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of their journey. While the doors may have closed, our commitment to creativity and collaboration remains as strong as ever. We look forward to continuing our legacy of storytelling and bringing brands to life on screen, wherever the future may lead us.
